Wireless Synchronization through GPS PDF Print

In main applications, to tranfert data from one client to another client or Server, it is necessary to be first synchronized with the Server. A synchronization allow to save time and energy.

The Y-Lynx's wireless modules allow two kind of netwrok synchronization:

  • Through the server, the server send regularly a beacon frame (for exampe every second) and them all the clients are able to receive the beacon signal and them to be synchronized all together (time and frequency synchronization)
  • Through GPS Receiver, in some application the wY-Lynx's wireless module is coupled with a GPS receiver. In this case it is possible to synchronized the client on the PPS (Pulse Per Second signal) coming from the GPS receiver instead of the beacon signal from the Server. In conclusion, by using PPS signal you can built a synchronized network with no Server and only clients.
